Dental Veneers Give Old Teeth a New Image
Dental Veneers Help You?
Dental veneers can serve one or more of several purposes. When applied to the front surface of the teeth, a veneer can perfectly cover up the stains that inevitably accumulate over time. Veneers effectively correct discolored, chipped, or otherwise damaged teeth. Veneers are also used to obscure unsightly gaps in between teeth.
How Dental Veneers
A veneer typically requires three visits to the dentist. The first visit is the consultation phase, when your dentist will determine that a veneer is appropriate for your teeth and explain to you in greater detail what the process entails. The second visit will prepare your teeth for the application of a veneer. At this point your dentist removes a very thin layer of your tooth surface in order to create space for the veneer that will be applied, and also makes a mold of the tooth. Once the veneer has been created, the third visit where it is securely bonded to the tooth is scheduled. Your dentist may schedule a follow-up visit after bonding your veneer to make certain everything is going well.
