We Are an Invisalign® Clear Braces Dentist

Straight Teeth
Without Metal Braces?
Many of our patients appreciate being able to enjoy straighter teeth without having to wear traditional braces. As an Invisalign® dentist in Sioux Falls, SD, Eastside Smiles would love to discuss the many benefits of this nearly invisible orthodontic solution and determine if they would work for you.

How Are
Invisalign® Braces Made?
Invisalign® Braces will straighten your teeth using a series of aligners. If you are an Invisalign® candidate, we’ll take a scan of your teeth and create a series of thermoplastic aligners in the dental lab. Because they are made of a strong and flexible material, these aligners are quite comfortable to wear for extended periods. Best of all, they are nearly unnoticeable.
Attachments
Patients may require attachments on their aligners, ridges made of enamel colored composite, which are secured to teeth in order to move them into their proper place.
Treatment
Time
Invisalign® treatment times vary. More often than not, timeframes are shorter than with standard metal braces. Rather than waiting to see an orthodontist to make adjustments, you simply pop in a new aligner!
How Do
Invisalign® Braces Work?
Once you receive your first set of aligners, you’ll be required to wear them for about 22 hours a day. Every two weeks or so, you’ll replace them with the next set in the series. With time, your teeth will move into their desired position. This measured process is painless and, once completed, will leave you with beautiful, straight teeth!
- Comfortable
- Colorless
- May be removed for up to two hours a day to eat or for other activities
- Normal teeth brushing
- Simply rinse or brush aligners to clean
- No stained teeth
- Fewer checkups
- Shorter treatment times
